6 Unique Ways To Stay Warm While Glamping

Just because the temps are dropping outside it doesn’t mean you have to stop enjoying the great outdoors. Whether you love camping or glamping you can still do it all year long while staying warm in the winter months. Here are 6 unique ways to stay warm while glamping:

  1. Wear a Hat– We lose heat from our heads. Wear a hat to bed to stay warm.
  2. Drink Water– You need to be well hydrated to stay warm. Remember if you have to go in the middle of the night GET UP AND GO! Holding it in makes you colder.
  3. Fuel Up– Eat a pre-bedtime snack to keep your body burning energy. Slow burning fatty snacks are better than refined sugars or caffeine. Think protein bars, trail mix or popcorn.
  4. Go to Bed Warm– Get that blood pumping! Do a few jumping jacks, high knees or push ups- just enough to get warm, but not enough to break a sweat.
  5. Clothing– Don’t go to bed in the damp clothes you wore all day. Change into something nice and dry to sleep in.
  6. Keep Your Nose and Mouth Outside Your Sleeping Bag– When you zip your face up in your sleeping bag the moisture from breathing will make your bag and clothing damp which leads to being cold.
